Your amazing and inspiring to me. I wasn’t able to have children and the thought of someone not wanting their child to live just makes me so devastated.
Your forgiveness is transcending you to a better place that most of us don’t even know exists.
My very own parent and mother killed her elderly mother, my only known Grandma and she did it w/ greed and anger in mind. I have not forgiven her yet and I know I MUST!!
Did you ever meet your bio-parents?? I am so curious how you handled all the pain and anger?
I so want to rise above this pain and it has been about 6 years or so since I found out the truth of what really happened.
Life can be so devastatingly hard. Yet, YOU make me see more of what I need to see…
You are a beacon of hope and light to me.
Thank you Melissa for being YOU!!!!!!!!!
    Love and light,

    Dear Melissa,

Thank God for you. So many others of us living on earth were not wanted by our parents as our mothers carried us during their pregnancy. Only some of those parents/mothers resorted to abortion. Those brave enough to trust that somehow they would cope have later greatly rejoiced to discover that ‘this child’ is the gift that brought them the most joy and comfort in life. God did not intend you give joy and comfort to your mother alone – but to all mothers and fathers struggling with unwanted pregnancies and to all children who believe they are unwanted or unloved for any reason at all.

You are brave, Melissa, for it would have been easier to live below the radar in life. Instead you have taken on the courage your mother could not find and you are demonstrating to her, wherever she is, that God loves us especially when our situation (through the decision of others or our own) seems absolutely hopeless.

God bless you, protect you and prosper you in your very important work and witness for hope and courage, saving lives physically and spiritually. May every life you touch be drawn to our God who forgives us when we repent and blesses us when we follow Him.

    With love,

Wow! What a story! Thank you, Melissa, for sharing, and a thank you to Focus on the Family for bringing in out in there email. How truly your story demonstrates that every baby in the womb is just that– a baby, a life God created! God creates human life. It is not ours to take it away- in any manner. I offer praise to God for the miracle He did in preserving your life, and how He is using you to save so many more. God bless you!
